From an early age, native Peruvian, Pablo Seminario showed an interest in ancient Peruvian cultures and their artistic expressions.  He studied and worked professionally as an architect until he met his partner Marilú Behar and they developed their ceramics studio together. Behar has always been interested in art and, after travelling the world, returned home to Peru where she specializes in native slip-painting techniques using natural oxide minerals. The couple are internationally recognized for their works and have been acquired by various museums. 

This piece is handmade in Peru using native Peruvian techniques with materials including red clay, oxide minerals (paint), and stainless steel and walnut for the base.
