This piece creates a strong focal point in any home, the outside surface is composed of celadon, blue and taupe chips and powders, with an interior of opal gray and clear glass. A molten gray colored glass wrap is applied to the shoulder of the piece to enhance this design. The top of the piece is then engraved, with a diamond wheel, to give the vase a very appealing detail and to reveal the interior. Finally the vessel is sandblasted to give the piece a matte finish that reveals the subtle pattern on the surface.
