Each of the patterns are made by hand using colored slips (liquid clays). The liquid swirls are poured and manipulated, creating unique and random patterns. These cups are dishwasher and microwave safe with a glazed interior and buffed ceramic exterior. Made for both cold and hot liquids, just note that the thin porcelain will be hot where it is in direct contact with the hot liquid. Holds 10 ounces.

Forest Ceramic Company is owned by Sean Forest Roberts, and co-managed with his partner Valeri Aleksandrov on Orcas Island, WA. Sean's background in chemistry originally inspired the experimental studio practice working with colored porcelain slips. Over the past 10 years, Sean and Valerie have developed hundreds of one-of-a-kind designs, some of which are never recreated or tweaked.
