Francesco Bassano II

Francesco Bassano the Younger was an Italian painter working during the Renaissance. Bassano trained under his father in the family workshop in Venice in the 16th century. This Adoration scene layers the shepherds and other onlookers with a traditional Renaissance landscape with rolling hills behind the manger.
