Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator, and graphic artist known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical poster, panels and designs. His work became some of the best-known images that defined the Art Nouveau period. Selected works are on view September 27, 2024 through January 12, 2025 in AMFA's Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau From the Chrysler Museum of Art Exhibition.
