After moving to Arkansas to pursue glassblowing full-time, Dan Van Antwerp found inspiration in the natural beauty of the state. His passion for crafting unique glass recipes has driven him to experiment with the material in innovative ways. The Fossil Bed series emerged from his love for rocks, fossils, and the ancient stories they carry. The fossil inspired vessels depict the natural forces that have shaped our landscape, evoking images of the humble beginnings of our planet.
